All board members are informed understood and accept their duties and responsibilities as governing body of Nkuzi and actively participate in the governance of the organization.
Nkuzi develop meaningful strategies, procedures, policies and systems that help advance the mission of the organization while ensuring that staff and Board participation in the process.
Nkuzi has adequate multi skilled, gender balanced, competent staff to effectively carry out its mission and objectives.
Nkuzi is able to secure its future through successful sustainable strategy.
Nkuzi implements effective and efficient financial management systems.
The Board, Executive Director and Programme Managers constitute the management of Nkuzi and will be jointly responsible for management of all Nkuzi's projects.
The layer that interacts with our target group on a daily basis is the Project Officers, Professional Assistance and Administrative staff. Nkuzi also work with volunteers or Interns who are graduates from university seeking exposure in rural development work.
Nkuzi works from four offices situated in Polokwane (main office), Elim, Modimolle and Pretoria. Having these different offices makes Nkuzi more accessible local communities and reduces the cost of getting to outer areas.
It is important Core Nkuzi staff have improved capacities in financial and administrative management as to continually expose field staff to new development and learning opportunities hence it will be important for
- Enrolememnt of staff in appropriate training programmes
- Staff to participate in external information sharing workshops and to create internal platforms to share learnings with other Nkuzi staff members.
